I’m a hands-on laboratory consultant with almost 15 years in the assay lab at Kinross Round Mountain Gold. Over the years, I became the person people called when something stopped working, equipment started breaking, particular projects needed special care, or a job needed someone to get their hands dirty that no one else wanted to do.
My background spans gold and silver fire assay, LECO carbon and sulfur, and a full range of instrumental analysis. I’ve worked extensively on Agilent AAS 240 systems, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS, keeping them calibrated, tuned, and producing clean, defensible data. If it sparked, burned, pumped, or required a plasma to behave itself, I was the one making sure it stayed reliable.
Beyond instruments, I’m known for building solid, practical SOPs, training techs at all levels, and taking on the high-tech jobs no one else wanted to touch. I’ve handled everything from stubborn furnaces to finicky instruments, and I’ve integrated LIMS systems that actually make lab life easier and smoother for everyone.
My approach is simple:
Straightforward communication, real experience, and technical work done right.
I help labs minimize downtime, sharpen their precision, and build workflows that stay consistent day after day — whether you need troubleshooting, method optimization, or full-scale system improvements.
